What it is
Bowenwork is a gentle bodywork technique. The practitioner makes light rolling moves over muscles and soft tissue, then pauses for a few minutes before the next set.
You stay fully clothed on a table. The pauses are part of the method.
Why people love it
The moves are so light that people often ask whether the practitioner is still working. That is the method: gentle rolling, then a pause for the body to settle.
It is the session people choose when deep pressure hurts, and the one they schedule on a day they can afford to be soft afterwards.
