Two ancient forces, one powerful protocol — the deep penetrating heat of full-spectrum infrared sauna paired with the invigorating chill of a cold plunge.
THE SCIENCE
Fire & Ice Experience — also known as contrast experience — combines the deep, penetrating heat of a full-spectrum infrared sauna with the invigorating chill of a cold plunge to revitalize both body and mind. The infrared sauna supports circulation, promotes sweating, and helps muscles unwind, while the cold plunge supports the body's natural anti-inflammatory response, tightens skin, and activates the nervous system. Alternating between these two environments creates a powerful physiological response that many clients experience as deeply restorative. Our sauna also features built-in red light experience to support skin wellness and collagen production.
YOUR EXPERIENCE
Begin in the full-spectrum infrared sauna. The heat penetrates deep into muscles, dilates blood vessels, increases circulation, and begins the detox process through sweat. Many clients feel their body begin to unwind within the first few minutes.
Immerse in the cold plunge. The body responds with a powerful physiological reset — circulation surges, the nervous system activates, and many clients report a sharp, invigorating mental clarity immediately following immersion.
Alternate between heat and cold 2–3 times within your 60-minute experience. Each cycle deepens the cardiovascular response and may amplify the recovery and restoration benefits.
End with a warm rest period. Drink plenty of water. Your body continues to process the experience for hours after — many clients feel restored and energized well into the rest of their day.
Contrast experience has been used for centuries by Nordic cultures and is now a staple protocol for professional athletes worldwide. The rapid vascular cycling delivers benefits equivalent to 30 minutes of moderate cardio.

WHY IT WORKS
Contrast experience supports muscle repair by rapidly cycling blood flow in and out of tissue. Popular among athletes and active professionals seeking faster physical recovery.
Cold immersion triggers the body's natural anti-inflammatory response. Many clients report reduced physical discomfort and improved ease of movement with regular experiences.
Regular contrast experience is associated with activation of the immune system and increased resilience. Many long-term clients report improved overall wellness.
Alternating heat and cold creates a demanding cardiovascular training effect — encouraging the vascular system to dilate and constrict efficiently, supporting circulation without physical exertion.
Cold immersion activates the release of norepinephrine and endorphins — supporting focus, alertness, and an elevated sense of well-being that many clients describe as lasting well into their day.
Built-in red light experience supports collagen production and cellular renewal. Cold immersion tightens pores and improves tone. Together they deliver a visible skin wellness benefit over consistent use.
QUESTIONS

The cold plunge is maintained between 48–54°F (10–15°C). This is the range commonly used in contrast experience protocols. If you have cold sensitivity or any cardiovascular condition, please consult your healthcare provider before booking.
Please consult your physician before booking if you have any cardiovascular conditions, hypertension, or are pregnant. Contrast experience places significant demands on the cardiovascular system and is not appropriate for everyone.
