A comprehensive, data-driven analysis that measures lean mass, fat mass, hydration, and metabolic indicators.
Body Composition Analysis at SoliVana goes far beyond a scale. In minutes, a non-invasive scan generates a detailed snapshot of your body's composition — muscle, fat, hydration, and more — giving you a clear, personalized baseline to build from. Using bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA) technology, the scan measures and maps the composition of your body — providing distinct measurements of muscle mass, body fat, visceral fat, hydration levels, and more. Unlike a standard scale, BIA looks past total weight to show you what your body is actually made of. The scan is quick, fully non-invasive, and requires no needles, radiation, or special preparation. You simply stand on the device and hold the hand grips for approximately 30–60 seconds while a safe, imperceptible electrical current measures your body's composition with professional precision.
Duration: 20 minutes. Price from $65.
Body Composition Analysis at SoliVana uses bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA), which is widely used in wellness and fitness contexts. It is distinct from DEXA scans or clinical body composition testing used in medical settings. Our scan provides informational wellness data — not a medical test or clinical measurement. For medical evaluation, please consult your healthcare provider.
BIA technology provides useful wellness-level estimates when scan conditions are consistent. Accuracy is affected by hydration status, recent exercise, meal timing, and other factors. Following our preparation guidelines improves consistency. Results are best understood as directional data points for wellness planning — not precise clinical measurements. Individual results vary.
Yes — repeat scanning over time is one of the most practical ways to use Body Composition Analysis. Rather than tracking weight alone, you can see whether changes in your body are coming from muscle, fat, or fluid. Your guide can help you understand what the trend data means in context. Individual results vary. This is wellness tracking, not medical monitoring.
Yes. Dehydration, recent intense exercise, recent eating, alcohol consumption, and extreme temperature changes can all affect BIA readings. Pacemakers and certain implanted electronic devices are contraindications — please see the section below. For women, menstrual cycle timing can also affect results. These are built-in limitations of the BIA method, not errors in the device.
Absolutely. Many clients use Body Composition Analysis as a starting point — and then use the results to inform which SoliVana experiences are most aligned with their current goals. Your guide can suggest a protocol based on your data and what you're working to support. Individual results vary.
